Book Sale   Drop- off & Set-up this Friday June 3, All Day!  Help is welcome. 

We need sturdy bags with handles for the bag sale at the end of the day of the sale.  

You can drop bags or books off  at the office this week (10-2pm).

Please call Sue Price if you are dropping books off at any other time.  

Invite your friends and neighbors and post on Facebook to help promote this event.

Sat.June 5 - Annual Book Sale      (9am-3pm) in the Fellowship Hall 




This Sunday  June 5 - All Ages -  Flower Communion   

Please  bring a flower (or several) to share in the service




BRIDGES Breakfast for FUUSM Families   Sun. June 12, (9:30am) Fellowship Hall.

Sponsored by the BRIDGES Program Council. Come eat, and share.

Families and children are encouraged to attend to offer feedback and ideas for our program.  




This Week @ FUUSM

 

Tues. 5/31   TaiChi (7-8pm) FH      

     

    During the month of June the regularly scheduled Tai Chi class times (Tues. 7-8pm & Sat. 9-10am) F.Hall) 

will be open to anyone interested in trying Tai Chi on an free introductory basis.  Weather permitting, we can even have the classes outside. 

So, if you're interested, just drop in on any of the classes in June.  Bring a friend.  Even if they are not a part of the FUUSM congregation, they will be welcome.  You can do as many or as few as you want, no obligation.  Hopefully this will be a way for folks to try this form of exercise out and to see if they like it enough to sign up for the service auction item in the fall.

Annual Congregational Potluck Picnic - Sun., June 19th  Shelter #11 - Parkersburg City Park

   (11am) Short Worship Service followed by food and conversation.  Bring a large dish to share,

table service and your favorite beverage.   You can also enjoy the Multicultural Festival. 

  Followed by - FUUSM Plant Sale   (2-5pm in the FUUSM Courtyard)   

Bring plants  & pots(for house or outside) to FUUSM on Fri., June 17 or Sat. morning, June 18.   

 

General Assembly of the UUA  - In Columbus, Ohio  begins Wed. June 22nd.
