[Fuusm-l] January 24 Service Will Be Held

FUUSM Members & Friends:

     Because of the recent winter storm, there have been queries about whether we will be holding a service tomorrow (Sunday, January 24).

     After conferring with Martha McGovern, Chair of Worship & Music Committee, Kevin Morey, Chair of Buildings & Grounds, and others involved with the service,our thinking is that we will hold a service tomorrow as planned.  Your individual decision about whether to come is up to you and how  safe you will feel going out tomorrow morning. 

     Kevin informs me that the sidewalks around the church were cleared late Saturday afternoon. Parking, however, may be limited because of the amount of snow still around the bank and on Third Street.

     Our flaming chalice and warm spirits should help to accelerate the melting of snow...
