[Fuusm-l] Chilean Movie and Discussion Friday Night

The Spanish Club at Marietta College invites you to a showing of the 2004
Chilean film "Machuca." The movie screening will be followed by a brief
discussion on Latin American politics led by Professor Tager of the
Political Science Department. Pizza will be provided during the discussion.
The film will have English subtitles. Attendance is FREE for community
members.

What: Latin American Film Series: Machuca
When and where: 7PM Friday February 26  @ The Planetarium on the Marietta
College Campus, corner of Fourth Street and Butler Streets

Synopsis: “Set in Chile, 1973, this is an astonishingly intimate and
painful story about a pair of 12-year-old boys from opposite extremes of
society who form an unlikely friendship during the last days of socialist
President Allende and the first days of Pinochet.”
