[Fuusm-l] Pledge Drive Follow up

All Members & Friends:

                                                 PLEDGE DRIVE EXTENDED

	As discussed at the April 24 Annual Meeting, our 2016 Pledge Drive has been extended. As most FUUSM members & friends know,  the pledge drive conducted at this time of year is intended to identify the major source of revenue for our 2016-2017 budget. Our goal for this year's pledge drive was $120,000, a revenue figure that was used to build our 2016-2017 budget. At this writing we are about $5,000-6,000 short of that goal.  Rather than pursue any more budget reductions for next year's FUUSM activities (several budget cuts have already been made) in order to balance the budget, we would like to continue to pursue our objective of $120,000 in pledge revenue for next year.  In order to do that, we need to have members & friends who have not yet pledged, to submit a completed pledge form and for those who have pledged to raise their pledge. The most direct way to raise your pledge is to communicate directly with Rhea Bockhorst, our Financial Administrator (bockhorst at suddenlink.net).  Just send Rhea a message and let him know by how much you wish to increase your pledge for next year. 
	Many thanks to those who have pledged and especially to those at the Annual Meeting, who have already stepped forward to increase their pledges.
