[Fuusm-l] Global Palate Dinner and Poetry Reading

This may be of interest to members.  Richard mentions a sign-up sheet in
Andrews Hall, but I think you could also sign up by emailing him or Samuel
Cruz, the organizer (sc011 at Marietta.edu).  Some of you met Samuel when he
came to a Men's Group meeting.  I told him I would announce it to the
church members.

 Or email me and I'll sign you up tomorrow morning.

 It is the same night as the Men's Group, but it ends at 6:30 and Kevin's
house is only two blocks away.

International Week Global Palate Dinner

Featuring Dominican/American poet Miguel Valerio, who will conduct a poetry
reading and book signing.  His published works are available at our Barnes
& Noble campus bookstore.
When: Wednesday, November 18, 5-6:30 pm
Where: Great Room, Andrews Hall

Menu:

Dominican carne ripiada (shredded beef)
arroz con fideos (rice and noodles)
spiced chickpeas
coconut cake
water and iced tea

Sign-up is available at the Information Desk in the lobby of Andrews Hall.
Students on a meal plan will have one meal swiped from their account.  All
others dine free.
