[Fuusm-l] Decorating the church's exterior

A couple of weeks ago, the Men's Group was requested to take responsibility for decorating the outside fence at our church.


The Men's Group scheduled tomorrow, December 2, as a day to gather the greenery at Ron and Cathy Rees' to decorate the exterior fence area at the church.  From my conversations with those more experienced, I expect it will take a minimum of 2 or 3 hours to gather enough greenery and begin the process of transporting it to the church property.  If weather cooperates, we may begin the process of decorating that afternoon; but, in all likelihood, may be doing the bulk of the actual decorating on Thursday, December 3.


I extend a welcome to any volunteers from our members and friends who would be willing to assist in this endeavor.  The decorating primarily involves cutting and assemblying pine branches into a garland that is woven along the top of the wrought iron fence.  A gold garland is added.  The decorating phase on Wednesday may begin in the early afternoon with the start time on Thursday at 10:00 AM.
