[Council] Committee Fair Sept. 22

Hi All,
I will try this again.
Evidently, my first email went to an outdated Council list.  Ralph has
graciously updated the current list.
Also, I apparently did not communicate the date!!  Duh!!
I will try again:
     All Committee chair  (or a committee member) will prepare and present
a statement about the committee members, purposes and goals.  This will be
during the Sunday Service (Sept. 22) in place of a "Reflection".  I am
suggesting 3 minutes!!  (give or take).
     The Service will be a shortened service.  We will then adjourn to
Fellowship Hall where each committee will have set up a "booth."  (part of
a table)        Each Committee should have a poster identifying the
Committee and a sign-up sheet for interested new members (and two pens or
pencils!!).  Some Committees have "a treat", but it is not necessary as
there will be the normal coffee hour.
     Of course, I will have balloons and perhaps some prizes for those who
visit at least four "booths."  If I do the prizes, you will be asked to
sign peoples' cards ( I will provide) verifying that they talked with you.
     Mike, you are included in this list because you will be presenting on
behalf of the Finance Committee.
     Karen, you are included in this list because I would like you to
present on behalf of the Personnel Committee.  (We'll talk soon.)
     Please let me know who will be speaking and I will try to prepare the
order in which you will speak (to help things move more smoothly).
