I have tried to understand the reasoning behind the attachment that will
be handed out tomorrow at the Sunday service.  It is not clear to me.
No one signed it or is listed as a contact for comment.

It seems to have some intent but it isn't clear. The document is all
over the place in what it is trying to convey.  It feels like the
intent, and I'm reading into this, is to squelch disagreement with how
things are being done, or perhaps how the minister is leading or not
leading.  Is this in response to my report last Sunday or Darryl's ideas
or something else?  I'd like it to be clear what brought this about and
the solution they are looking for because it feels like it is saying we
have no right to correct wrongs, disagree with old-fashioned ways of
doing business, or with the minister.

This message is the type of thing that just feeds the gossip and
behind-the-back comments.  If there's an issue let's put it out there.
Let's state it clearly.  Let's deal with it.  If we let this type of
communication, or way of communicating pass how do we move forward in a
positive way?

What is the next step?  I have filled out my minister's job review
survey and I am sitting on it for a few days to make sure I am clear in
my responses, and not overlooking what needs to be said.  It can be so
easy to back down from a position that is not popular, and I am
determined to remain as neutral as possible in the observations I offer
as the leader of the Chalice Lighter Project.  Annie Warmke
