Hi everyone,

Patti sent you the minutes from our last meeting, but just in case you haven't looked at them yet, I wanted to let you know about our plans for distributing the Christmas cups this year.

On December 3rd after the service, we will be putting the cups together.  Please help if you can. I was able to pick up plenty of Christmas cups second hand.  If you are willing to donate some goodies to put in the cups, that would be great.  We are adding tea bags, hot chocolate and Christmas candy.  Also, if you have extra Christmas cards please bring them as well.

On December 10th, we will ask the congregation to help us with deliveries.  I will have the names and addresses ready.   The names are from our " plans for support", "keep in mind" lists, as well as others.

Also, if you weren't able to attend our meeting this week, but had activities that you did, please let me know so I can add them to our report.

And last but not least, we can communicate with each other through:

caring at fuusm.org

Our newest members have been added.

FYI. Roger Kalter is in the hospital. His diagnosis is Altrial Flutter. Betsy said he is stable, but will have a Cardiac Conversion on Monday.

It would be great to have some extra help with Maggie Meyers. She really isn?t safe to drive and she?s making daily trips to Riverview Rehab Center to be with Steve. She also is very lonely in her new home at Glenwood. If you have any free time, please give her a call and see if you can help in some way.

Rebecca and Martha has been great to help, Maggie. Ron and I have been helping as well, but it?s kind of a ? it takes a village? situation.

Subject: [Caring] Committee meeting

Our committee meeting will be next Monday, December 4th @ 2:00.  Also, I hope everyone can help get the Christmas Cups ready this Sunday.  Any candy, tea or hot chocolate would be appreciated, as well as Christmas cards.  We do not need envelopes.  Distribution of the cups will be the following Sunday, December 10.  However, I will have the list with me this weekend, so if there are cups you are particularly interested in delivering you can take them then. We will be asking the congregation for help with deliveries.

I hope to see you on Sunday.
