So much of the world and in the world encourages our fear. And in many ways, our fears seem like rational responses to the way things are. On the other hand, those whose wisdom we
value have a lot to say about fear as an obstacle, an obstacle to our moving toward the world we seek.

In this service, we’ll consider some theological approaches to and understandings of fear. What are its sources? What are our possible response options?
