Oct. 6: Forgiving Ourselves and Each Other.
Rev. Kathryn Hawbaker and members of the Worship and Music Committee will lead this service.
We are imperfect beings, and so—even though unintentionally—over the past year, we have made missteps that have caused harm or hurt in some way. We will explore the power of forgiveness of ourselves and each other. We will connect with the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur (which is October 11 this year), explore other perspectives and experiences, and, as a congregation, participate in a sung ritual that leads us from remorse to forgiveness to beginning again in love
