<p style="margin-bottom: 0in">FUUSM Homecoming 2022 Support Team
Meeting</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in">Monday, March 14th 6 pm
est.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in">The first meeting of the Homecoming
2022 Support Team will be March 14th at 6pm on Zoom. A
meeting code and link will be sent the day prior to the meeting.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in">The goal of the support team is to
work
together to create two different weekend activities that will
celebrate the 157 year story of FUUSM by bringing us together
after
the various struggles we've all experienced over the past two
years. </p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in">The first activity is an art display
to
be located inside the church on Sunday, May 1st. The
art
can be of any nature and will be just a few pieces so it seems we
aren't taking on too much. There will also be the annual may pole
dance
outside, led by Rev. Kat Hawbaker. </p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in">The second set of activities take
place
as part of the Homecoming 2022 celebration weekend picnic and
concert
(potentially an activity Friday evening, Saturday afternoon picnic
and Saturday evening activities such as a concert).</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in">We are hoping that you will have other
suggestions of people that might like to join the committee to
help
to work together to celebrate our stories of caring, social
justice
and community building.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in"><br>
</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in" align="center">Below is the
announcement that has
appeared in the FUUSM order of service and Confluence:</p>
<p>We want to celebrate FUUSM with pre-recorded stories and music of
members and friends. FUUSM's Homecoming 2022 is a chance to
reconnect or invite new friends to join in. Whether it is online
through Zoom and Facebook or in person at our beautiful church
building, we are eager to share our rich history. Homecoming 2022
events will begin starting today (March 5th) and
continue
the first Sunday of each month through July.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in">Homecoming 2022: Plans are in the
works for monthly themes that share the stories of the FUUSM
members
and friends. The special service will include a
historical moment by Rev. Kat, individual video recordings of
stories
and an announcement about the Dance Card and the need for
volunteers.</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in">Dance Cards* will be distributed
regularly to help
everyone to be reminded to speak to their FUUSM friends and
neighbors
about the rich stories that built the society. The last weekend in
July there will be a homecoming picnic, a concert and more.</p>

<p>Dance Cards*</p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in">Dance cards are part of a 10 month
homecoming campaign to increase participation in FUUSM activities.
The goal of the dance card is to have a way to reach out to other
members, friends and anyone else in the community to share the
good
work of FUUSM and the July homecoming celebration the last weekend
in
July. By recording the names and contact info on the Dance Card
volunteers will have a way to determine who hasn't been invited.
Blank Dance Cards are available at the FUUSM office or at the
Sunday
service. Filled cards should be sent or taken to the FUUSM office.</p>
