<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt;background:white"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">A few weeks ago, CER held a very well attended event to help congregations begin planning for a future of both in person congregational life while
 continuing online inclusion. (<a href="https://www.uua.org/leadership/library/cer-dual-platform" target="_blank">Catch up on that program here</a>!)</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt;background:white">
<span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">To be fully inclusive congregations need to attend to the needs of families with children and youth—many of whom congregations are already struggling to serve online but also may not be able to be part of an in person
 Sunday experience safely until vaccines are available for children and youth. Therefore a return to in person congregational life while not planning how to include parents, children, and youth will result in more exclusion.</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12.0pt;background:white">
<span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Planning to do this inclusively will take joint planning across the congregational leadership including ministers, boards, religious educators, and volunteers in religious education. In many congregations boards and
 ministers are not involved in the day to day planning for religious education and so building this level of team work will take effort and intention.</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><u></u><u></u></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">This event is hosted by Congregational Life staff nationally and will include the voices of staff from all regions. Participants will meet with small groups of similarly sized congregations to share learning
 and ideas moving forward. By sending a team, on any of the dates, you’ll have more people in more small group conversations and will be able to bring a richer conversation back to your congregation. <u></u><u></u></span></p>
