I was having lunch with Karen Barry today and we were talking about this problem. She mentioned that she and Gene had used this product in their basement and it got rid of their dampness problem. I called Lowe's this evening and the product is called Dry Lock, an acrylic and polyurethane paint that is warranted to do the job. The cost is $23.95 a gallon or $109.00m for a five gallon bucket though the salesperson said that could be hard to handle. The product carries a 10-year warranty.
I trust that this will address some of the concerns raised at Wednesday's meeting.
