It’s been 6 weeks of testing and worry since that first call-back mammogram. It is a breast cancer diagnosis but it is the best type I could get. It’s Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (DCIS) which is non-invasive and contained. I have a very good prognosis with this lumpectomy and some radiation.
