I'll do that Ron . . . since I don't have a truck but my Prius
hatchback can at least handle those boxes. :-)
I will plan to go maybe 3:00 tomorrow. Is the 3rd St address for
Randy in the directory right?
I just went to Randy's apartment to survey it more thoroughly.
Tomorrow I will be taking a least one load to the dump. There
are a lot of empty boxes from amazon, few of which are large
enough to help with moving. If someone can volunteer to take
them to recycling on the west side that would be very helpful
and it could be on your own schedule. There are currently some
on the front porch and I will be placing more there tomorrow. A
couple months ago I took Randy a boxcutter so he could break
them down but that never happened.

I just returned from taking Randy and some of his
possessions to the county home. The best news is that he is
now in a safe environment where he can have all his needs
met. I have known the director of social services there for
a number of years and she has my cell number if something is
needed. The apartment is pretty chaotic. A lot of what is
left will go to the dump. I am familiar with the dump and I
can take at least one load there. Most of what will go to
storage is books. There are a number of boxes still in the
apartment, perhaps enough to hold the books. Unless someone
has storage to offer I will move forward with renting some
storage. I have the keys to the apartment and Randy would
like to not go back. He has really struggled over the last
few months and doesn't want to even see the place now.
There are only a few things other than the books that are
worth keeping. I think it makes the most sense for a few
people to go there and box up some books and perhaps take a
load to the dump. I am available almost anytime this week.
If you are sensitive to dust you will probably want to bring
a mask if you come into the apartment.
