It’s big, it’s old, it’s dropping limbs and damaging the sidewalk, but it’s healthy, and provides shade and habitat. Two of its neighbors want it cut; other neighbors are clueless about it. Roger is working with the Tree Commission. Cutting this tree will cost an estimated $14K, Roger said (?!?), and the city is cash-strapped.
