<div class="">1. I hope ALL of you will plan to attend the Sunday service this week—OUR service, planned and conducted by many GSC members, with Rebecca Phillips as worship leader! (Thank you, Rebecca.) I’ve prepped the order of service, and I think it’s going
to be an especially inspiring hour. Please try to attend if you can.</div>

<div class="">2. George Banziger alerted me to a ReImagine Appalachia initiative that is seeking endorsement from partner organizations (such as us) and elected officials for their list of appropriations priorities for the FY25 Federal Budget. They’ve had input
from lots of experts and citizens and organizations whose goal is to foster sustainable economies in Appalachia. Here is a link to the letter they’d like us to endorse. <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1E1VjrnekHIEqLHFhswmrSaKcx1icnkPGR6aEFZ2vCxY/edit" class="">https://docs.google.com/document/d/1E1VjrnekHIEqLHFhswmrSaKcx1icnkPGR6aEFZ2vCxY/edit</a></div>

House and Senate members are currently soliciting priorities from advocates to inform their versions of the FY25 budget. The Appropriations Committees will take those priorities and create their FY25 budgets this summer. So now is an ideal time to submit our
priorities and influence that process, but it is not the last opportunity we'll have to do so.
