I sent out this message earlier about the SCORP letter (see
below), asking for agreement to sign on. I've heard from a couple of
people agreeing to sign on--no one has objected to signing on.

Basically, this letter relates to the need for Ohio (Department of
Natural Resources) to submit a request for federal funds from the
National Wildlife Service for their state parks. In their letter of
request the state mentioned NOTHING about the plan to launch fracking
adjacent to the state parks. The letter we agreeing to sign clearly
objects to this omission.

FUUSM GSC sign on or not?
Save Ohio Parks is asking for groups to sign on the attached
letter regarding the Statewide Comprehensive Outreach Recreational
Plan (SCORP) that the state (Ohio Department of Natural Resources)
needs to submit every five years to obtain federal funds for its state
parks. Surveys that ODNR has sent out to the public about SCORP has
NOT mentioned anything about the industrialization of state parks by
the plans to allow fracking adjacent to these public lands.

It's a long letter--you can get the gist of it on the last page.

In Dawn H's absence I would ask if Green Sanctuary would agree
to signing on to this letter.
