I have been fishing, hiking, picnicking, boating and other activities at this State Park, which I regard as the "gem" of our state park system. I oppose the nominations submitted for hydraulic fracturing for the following reasons:<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal> -methane emissions which will contribute to climate change<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal> -building of access roads and their environmental impact in the vicinity of the park<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal> -water pollution<o:p></o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal> -water withdrawal (each fracking well will have to take about a 1 million gallons of water/year).
