I spoke with Andrew Clovis yesterday. He is finalizing the design, and our plan is to plant on Sunday afternoon, May 16 (after the last frost date). To be ready, we need to clear out a huge swath of non-native daylilies. (Yes, they are gorgeous, but the Ohio

 DNR has now added them to the list of plants invasive in our state.) I dug some out a couple of weeks ago and passed them on to a volunteer who is trying to eradicate Japanese knotweed and poison hemlock (worse invasives) from another area; he wants more.</div>

Looking at the weather, my plan is to head over on Thursday to attack the daylilies again. If anyone wants to join me, feel free. And if you just feel the need to have at some invasive plants, go for it. Will keep you posted on Andrew's design.</div>
