There’s a proposal to permit underground (and under-river!!!) liquid natural gas storage (from fracking waste) wells before the Ohio DNR. <br><br>An organization called Concerned Ohio River Residents has prepared a thorough fact sheet, including a template for a letter opposing the permitting, and a lengthy list of talking points providing myriad reasons why these wells are a bad idea.<div><br></div><div>I spent about 20 minutes on this, and fired off a letter. These caverns carved in salt formations would store natural gas byproducts and potentially hydrogen derived from oil & gas exploration, and therefore not green hydrogen in any way.
