<b>Subject:</b> [Green] Zoom meeting tonight re Williamstown Wetlands</font>
<div> </div>
</div>
<div class="BodyFragment"><font size="2"><span style="font-size:11pt">
<div class="PlainText">Dear Green friends,<br>
<br>
Tonight I attended a Zoom meeting regarding the Williamstown Wetlands, organized by Julie Zickefoose, and attended by several community members, but also two representatives of the West Virginia Land Conservancy. I took a lot of notes by hand, and it will take
me a while to type them up to share with you. <br>
<br>
The WVLC hopes to meet with property owner Chris Bradley and offer her some alternatives to filling it. Several people in the meeting tonight are acquaintances of the owner, and fear she could easily become defensive and determined to go through with this disturbing,
sad plan. A reporter for the News and Sentinel is already working on a story about the issue, and several people in the meeting tonight were tasked with various things, such as trying to find a copy of the original agreement between the previous DaVinci owners
and the Williamstown Wetlands; and trying to find in-roads to persuading Ms. Bradley that there are alternatives to filling in this important community resource.
<br>
<br>
I’m sorry I’m too lazy and tired to type up those notes tonight, but I will get them to you in the next few days. Meanwhile, if any of you are friends of Chris Bradley, or friends of friends of her, please let me know. We might have an important assignment
for you!<br>
<br>
I’m sending you this short and incomplete update just to let you know that things are afoot, and that various groups are actively working on this situation.
