This August, Mid-Ohio Valley Climate Action is promoting a free webinar series on Community Democracy offered by Fair Shake Environmental Legal Services. Fair Shake is a nonprofit law firm that believes everyone should be able to defend their environment. They provide access to environmental justice through pro bono and income-based legal services on environmental issues. (Personal note: I have seen Fair Shake personnel participating in several recent Zoom events hosted by non-profit groups with whom MOVCA collaborates, especially on issues relating to protecting the Ohio River and dealing with the proposed Appalachian Storage Hub.
