      We also may have people in our congregation that would like to
      have the food - this is not an issue necessarily of people needing
      it because of poverty but one of using produce that goes to waste
      for no reason.  All produce is packaged at Aldi's so it is not
      contaminated other then if it is sprayed in the processing of the
      produce.  People bring food into church every Sunday.  Perhaps
      there are some folks who might be willing to retrieve food for an
      offering on Sundays and if so moved, leave a donation for social
      justice or UU Green Sanctuary or something similar.  Annie<br>

        Dear George, First time I became aware of the food waste was a
        problem at Aldi’s when I saw two dumpster divers. I politely
        asked them to close the dumpster doors when done. Dumpster trash
        blows into the wooded area next to Aldi’s. (I cleaned 60
        pounds). 
        <div>I could see the bananas today as I rode River Trail. The
          waste seems completely unnecessary given Harvest of Hope
          volunteers </div>

          close attention so good food makes it to those who can’t
