We tentatively came up with “Putting the Seventh Principle into Practice” as the theme.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">We discussed these topics for April 2,9,23, and 30 (but not 16, because it’s Easter):</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><ul class=""><li class="">Water</li><li class="">Local foods, including CSAs, and perhaps getting a CSA farmer to come talk</li><li class="">The Climatarian diet</li><li class="">Reading Food Labels (including “organic,” “all natural,” “non GMO,” “cage free,” “free range,” grass fed</li><li class="">Meat: how to tell if it’s humanely raised and slaughtered</li><li class="">Energy</li></ul><div class=""><br class=""></div></div><div class="">I said I would contact Thomas Blane to see if he would do a session with us. He’s the Associate Prof at OSU who will be speaking on <b class="">Global Climate Change and Gardening for the Extension service from 1-2:30 at Graham Auditorium, WCC, 710 Colegate Drive, Marietta.</b> FREE. (Add that to list of green events, please.)</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Do I have any volunteers to be a presenter or discussion leader or otherwise to take responsibility for one of those RE sessions and/or topics? RE is 9:30-10:30 Sunday in the Fellowship Hall.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Also, we’re hoping we can claim April 2 for our annual service, and I’ll ask Dave B. if he would consider being the primary speaker for that event. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I will check with Rev Kat and the Worship & Music committee to see if we can have that date, and then check with Dave.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I hope I got all that right. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">And then there’s Earth Day.
