 popular are events that feature food! This can be as simple as a country-style dinner, a picnic, an ethnic 
adventure, garden party...you get the idea. Not able to host a party, but love to cook? Offer your specialty to be prepared and delivered to the winning bidder. We're also fond of games - card party, puzzle competition...how about charades? Outdoor adventures - bird walk, nature hike, kayak/canoe trip, bike tour, local history tour. And
 let's not forget services - car wash, simple will, handyman, genealogy,
 chauffeur, dog walking/petsitting...to name but a few. Art,
 jewelry, food, useful things, unique things, garden decor make
 good silent auction items. Really special ones make good live auction 
items. Auction catalog creator Cindy Brown's deadline for items is March 29. A form with the info she needs to prepare bid sheets and the
