<div><div dir="ltr">Sad News George Lisk<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">Don’t go before or follow behind, just walk beside me and be my friend.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">George Lisk has breathed his last, but he lived right up until the end, <br></div><div dir="ltr">enjoying a holiday luncheon at the Ballantyne Barn, earlier this month.<br></div><div dir="ltr">He was a companion of many on the long and winding road of recovery, showing great determination, honesty and kindness. His sweetheart, <br></div><div dir="ltr">partner and wife Brenda is supported by her family, faith and community.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">A viewing/visitation is scheduled for this Sat. Dec. 18 at Hadley’s funeral home in Reno. (afternoon time -TBD)<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">George rolled up his sleeves to do dishes for the community meal. He was a craftsman in bodywork and rode motorcycles for many years.<br></div><div dir="ltr">After receiving chemotherapy at Strecker Cancer Center, he volunteered and was recognized as a Volunteer of the Month for turning his challenge into a way to help others. He was a comfort and inspiration to many.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">I recall that we talked in wonder of such forgiveness as the violet which <br></div><div dir="ltr">offers a sweet scent to the foot which crushes it.<br></div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">In memory and love,<br></div><div dir="ltr">your minister, Rev.
