<div dir="auto">I noticed this was accidentally cut short during the service. I'm just sending it out again in case anyone would like to hear it in its entirety. It reflects numerous moods and emotions. And I associated it with the maypole,  basically because of its structure. And btw it is very fun to play. I probably emphasized the more introspective aspects than playing it generally fast (compare YouTube videos if you're curious what I mean), and used a lot of metrical freedom. Probably just a side effect of getting older. A good example of that is to compare Glenn Gould's 1955 recording of Bach's Goldberg Variations which lasts 38' 34" and his 1981 recording which is 51' 18". <div dir="auto"><br><div dir="auto"><br><div dir="auto"><br><br><div data-smartmail="gmail_signature" dir="auto">Randall Kidder</div></div></div></div></div>
