Hi, Michelle - thank you for the input on the stool. I’ve seen similar stools over the years, too, but don’t know how to tell hand done needlepoint vs machine. <div><br></div><div>As for the bidding process, I asked that parties respond to me via email, not necessarily intending the sale to be one where everyone knows what the other bids are. I set the minimum, and then hoped anyone interested will send me their best bid first time around. Keeping it simple seemed the way to proceed. </div><div><br></div><div>This is the first week, and I suppose there will be a learning curve. If I get feedback that bidders want to see all other bids, then we can try it next week. Anyone bidding would just have to hit the reply all button instead of emailing me privately. I really don’t know, Maureen. I assumed it was probably hand done because it’s old. When I turn it over to look at the underside, I can see the edges that aren’t finished.
