--></style></head><body lang=EN-US><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>Dear FUUSM Friends and Family,</p><p style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>This Sunday morning we learned that Mark Redd, beloved spouse and partner of Nina Redd has died.</p><p style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>While we are making preparations for a Celebration of Life Service, (date to be announced) I pause to give thanks for this compassionate and caring congregation.</p><p style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>Mark was a professional musician who had a lot of various life and work experience to draw on for wisdom and knowledge of people. His work to make their old house on Tupper St. into a comfortable home, and to grow a glorious front and back garden was a source of pride & satisfaction to him.</p><p style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>He was a caring and courageous ally for GLBTQIA individuals and groups and advocated simple signs of solidarity, like flying a rainbow flag. He was tireless in his devotion to Nina, and to our democratic process and institutions. He enjoyed the annual Democratic Party Fall Dinner, the night before he died unexpectedly.</p><p style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>A dear friend who always brought a smile of friendship to my face and to others, Mark will be greatly missed. He will be featured with many FUUSM friends lost to us this year and along with all the names honored at the Day of the Dead Service on Sunday Nov. 3- right before the Ohio General Election.</p><p style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>Reiki Masters and teachers, Mark and Nina explored many spiritual paths throughout their life together, and were always interested in helping others to heal and be well. They have been a blessing to our congregation and community from the first day they arrived. Mark had such passion and loyalty for people and music, stories and ideas. Let us continue his legacy of care, courage and compassion.</p><p style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>Nina has some food allergies we want you to be aware of, and when the family confers about a service to honor Mark we will share the invitation as well.</p><p style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>There is much more to say, and those who knew Mark well will acknowledge that he could tell one good story after another, and so shall we in his honor. </p><p style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>I feel blessed to have known him, and sad for his passing as we give our attention to Nina and her family.</p><p style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>All Blessings as we ponder the great mysteries and precious gift of life.</p><p style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'><o:p> </o:p></p><p style='margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'>Rev.
