elected for a three-year term, and 2 consecutive 3-year terms are allowed which

liaison assignments so that they can observe, (connect and) communicate with,

<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">The Board usually
holds its monthly meeting on the fourth Tuesday (6:30-8:30 pm) in the
Parlor. </FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman">At each meeting the Board
reviewed the profit & loss statements and balance sheet presented by the
Treasurer and reviewed recommendations of the Finance Committee regarding budget
issues. </FONT></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN><FONT face="Times New Roman"><FONT
style="FONT-SIZE: 8pt"></FONT></FONT></SPAN> </P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">August
19<SUP>th</SUP> of 2017 the board met for a summer retreat. Goals were
discussed, and Shari Miller agreed to </FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman">be the
president. George Banziger, agreed to help with that transition.</FONT></P>

style="FONT-FAMILY: ; LINE-HEIGHT: 9pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman"><FONT

September 24<SUP>th</SUP> of 2017 a congregational meeting was held to go over
major renovations. </FONT></SPAN><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: ; LINE-HEIGHT: 14pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">The
expenses were approved and building and grounds</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 13pt"><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: ; LINE-HEIGHT: 14pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">went
forward with the project. </FONT></SPAN><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: ; LINE-HEIGHT: 14pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">Golden
Rule again offered to advance funding for additional solar panels. This was
approved with the blessings of the solar energy committee.
</FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: ; LINE-HEIGHT: 14pt"><FONT
face="Times New Roman">The panels were installed in December of
2017.</FONT></SPAN></P>

and Grounds came before the board to ask for additional expenses be granted to
cover </FONT></SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: ; LINE-HEIGHT: 14pt"><FONT
face="Times New Roman">unforeseen problems with the floor and walls of the
Sanctuary.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The board approved
this.</FONT></SPAN></P>

been great discussion on the security of our members and friends. This is an
ongoing topic and </FONT></SPAN><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: ; LINE-HEIGHT: 14pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">work is at
hand to set up a plan of action for this. A<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>special class, was presented<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>by Brady Stephens, </FONT></SPAN><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: ; LINE-HEIGHT: 14pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">on<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>the 27<SUP>th</SUP> of March to learn
how to set to set this into motion. Board members and members </FONT></SPAN></P>

30<SUP>th</SUP> of March, the board met to discuss items for the following year.

face="Times New Roman">It has been decided that there will be a special
collection once a month</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 13pt"><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: ; LINE-HEIGHT: 14pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">that will
be split between the church </FONT></SPAN><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: ; LINE-HEIGHT: 14pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">and a
selected social need.</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN><FONT face="Times New Roman"><FONT
style="FONT-SIZE: 8pt"></FONT></FONT></SPAN> </P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">The Board sends a
monthly service recognition/appreciation to a member or friend who has done
exemplary service in the previous month. </FONT></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">It also selects
<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>a person to receive the annual
congregational service recognition at the annual meeting. </FONT></P>
