often with backgrounds in traditional religion, to figure out how to be a

UU series is meant to help newcomers, new members, and new friends <SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>negotiate through these differences and
find their way of fitting in. If you are new to </FONT><FONT
face=Calibri><FONT face="Times New Roman"></FONT></FONT></FONT>Unitarian
Universalism, we highly recommend that you attend this course.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> If you are not a newcomer but do not feel
comfortable in your understanding of Unitarian Universalism (e.g., can your
explain it to a friend?), then this is the course for you. </SPAN>This
series is <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>a way for people to learn
what Unitarian Universalism is and how we go about being a UU .<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Those who have taken this series report
that it was very helpful.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">

New UU series will start on January 7 and last through February 18, on Sunday
mornings from 10am to 10:45am.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>We
will be covering such topics as theology, UU history, worship, religious
education, spiritual practice, social justice, governance and polity, and
membership.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Because Sunday services
during this period will be moved to the Fellowship Hall, the sessions will be in
the parlor of Education building.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
