the causes of radicalization and some possible ways to prevent its
occurrence. We will be watching the videotaped account of a former
jihadist and discussing the text of an address given by Scott Atran to the UN
Security Council in 2015. He shares insights into causes
and preventative steps. That text is attached.</FONT></DIV>
