November 4 - "Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead) Fall back! DST ends! Worship Leaders: Rev. Kathryn Hawbaker and Jane Tumas-Serna Inspired by Mexican traditions celebrating loved ones who have died, we will light candles to honor our dead. Dia de los Muertos can be very powerful, because you feel peace and a beautiful experience remembering someone and celebrating what they did and who they were. It's a nice way to deal with death and celebrate death in a healthy, constructive way. This service brings together the remembrance of the Day of the Dead with the contemporary focus of Native American Heritage Month, which we celebrate this November in conjunction with the National Museum of the American Indian, the Smithsonian Institution and Marietta College. • Social Justice Forum: "Acknowledging Native Lands in Marietta, Ohio," 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., Social Hall
