Gardening for a Healthy Planet

Classes begin January 21 from 1:30-3:30pm in the Social Hall and additionally on 1/28, 2/18, 2/25, 3/11 and 3/18.

This year Green Sanctuary will be partnering with the Washington County OSU Master Gardener Volunteers as well as the Mid-Ohio Valley Chapter of the West Virginia Master Naturalist to offer fun, informative classes on a variety of topical subjects including: "Composting," "Growing Native Trees from Seed," "Urban Forestry," "Growing Well to Eat Well: How to grow Nutritious Vegetables," "Invasive Species and Alternatives to Exotic Landscape Plants," and " Gardening for Wildlife Habitat," among others. Classes are free and open to the public. Hope to see you there. A complete schedule will be published in next month's Confluence.
